(Dear) Jerk,
I don't know who you are or who inspired you but I'm pretty sure every girl or other person would agree with me when I tell you that it is NOT a great idea to ring someone's bell at 4:00 in the morning and wake them.
And if they are awake and shuffle to the door opener (you never know, right?) please at least have the decency to say a) what you want (you did. You wanted to be let inside.) and b) say your name instead of "just open up, you'll see" when the girl you just pulled out of bed asks you that question, okay?
Otherwise you'll just end up freaking her out, making her both angry, somehwat scared and really, REALLY glad for the extra bolt on her door.
To all the other guys reading this: it CAN be romantic if you bring flowers and try to apologize for something. It's romantic in the movies. But it's NOT okay to just do everything of the above.
Please remember that.

It's November already, the year's almost over and it feels like it's always dark outside.
A vacation would be nice...
But since my finances disagree with that (especially after I broke my glasses today), I guess that'll have to wait...
I've been awol for a while and now slowly re-entering certain areas of the internet, maybe that'll help take my mind of things...

5:18 pm - Lucey graduates!

I know I haven't written anything for ages...but this I must share:
I'm now, 100% officially done with Uni! Yay!!!!! :o)
I got the final grade on Tuesday and I'll get my diploma within the next 2 weeks...and I'm actually happy with the results. (Sure, there's always this little voice telling "but if you had studied just a little harder..." but I'll just ignore that for now. It's not going to change anything anyway...and a 1,9 (overall) is a pretty good result (just fyi if you're not familiar with the grading system here: 1,0=the best)
So I'm now officially free to go job-hunting....we'll see how that's going to turn out...
And the other thing that has me excited is the fact that my lovely twinly hannabee is coming. She's on her way right now and I'm going to pick her up in less than 2 h. *squeeee* I'm so giddy and excited...after all we haven't seen each other for a really, really long time now, 2 years...wow.
So right now? Me=happy. Very.
Hope everyone else on my f-list is ok...I promise to catch up with my f-list soon...*hugs*

Happy Easter, everyone!!!
I think there's been a huge mistake. Somehow, Christmas and Easter got switched this year. It's been snowing for days! Frikkin' snowing! Seriously, the hell??? I don't want snow now. I wanted it in December or January where it belongs, not now.

Well, at least snow means no pollen... But...

7:32 pm - Music is not for everyone...

Somewhere in this house somebody is trying to play Coldplay's "The scientist".
Emphasis on trying. Trying for an hour and still not getting better.
I know playing the piano/keyboard is not that easy, I've always wanted to learn how to play but never got very far...and I know from my own attempts that it's somewhat difficult to combine the left hand and the right hand movements in order to not mess up the song.
But this? It's called rhythm, dammit! You can NOT randomly strike keys and keep going. The left hand is supposed to accent certain notes created by the right hand. The song has a rhythm and a structure and yes I know I'm being mean but oh my god!!!
I like the song, I really do and it pains me to see (or hear) it being tortured like this.
Maybe I should go and find out who's playing and offer my metronome to them.
It's just that listening to messed up music really irks me...23 years of musical education are really not helping with the "just ignore it" attitude that would be in order here. *groans*

I should probably not be this excited but just got a message that Wednesday-choir is "on hiatus" right now...whatever that means.
Meaning: I just solved all my Wednesday-night TV-problems, yay!
And: Supernatural's starting tonight, another yay!
Now I'll go back to stuffing more cowboy-related facts into my head.
I just have to remember to go to Uni tomorrow...classes starting and all. So far I signed up for one history lecture and 2 literature-classes. We'll see how that turns out...
Oh and ( this ) tiny Bones-S3-spoiler made me giggle like crazy. Hee!

11:20 pm - Snore-fest

So my cousin called to tell me that she's sick and I'd have to go to the mayor-farewell-reception alone.
I'm not amused.
I have a wardrobe-crisis.
I go anyway.
I arrive at the place and I'm told that "all the other "club"-people are there" aka a back-room while the real party is happening upstairs.
They gave us numbers, saying that we had to march up to the stage at a given moment in the designated order (they also said something about food that'd be waiting for us once we got back) and so we waited. We waited for 1 h ad 20 min. until someone ushered us to the foyer/hallway because "it's time".
It wasn't.
We waited there for another 20 min. until we were "marching in" to crappy music. On our way in we passed a really delicious-looking buffet and once we were in the mayor shook everyone's hand and we all gathered on stage where a woman I've never seen before gave a speech.
The mayor responded with a speech and then we were all marching back - again to crappy music - shook the mayor's hand yet again and then we passed the yummy, yummy buffet again.
We got back to our back-room to find out that instead of a delicious-looking buffet they were serving us potato-salad and wieners.
I passed on that one and went back home.
Sometimes being a choir's vice-president really, really sucks...
